Mechanic Shop

The Mechanical Division for the City of Johnstown Performs a variety of functions to support all the departments of the City of Johnstown. The mission of this division is to maintain and repair the service fleets for the Fire Department, Police Department and Public Works Department

                 
                                                 
SERVICE OBJECTIVES

To assist in the acquisition of new equipment, maintenance, service and the repairs of all city vehicles and equipment by: doing prevented maintained grease and oil changes,  inspection of brakes ,front suspensions, tires, drive trains, vehicle under carriage .Maintaining an automated preventative maintenance program for all city vehicles and equipment. Maintaining and accounting for fuel supplies parts inventories and billing and assigning related cost to the appropriate departments.

We also perform vehicle maintenance for outside venders West End ambulance service and Upper Yoder Fire Department.
