The City utilizes one officer for the DARE program in the Greater Johnstown School District. DARE – Drug Abuse Resistance Education – a highly acclaimed program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence has been implemented in over 80% of the nation’s school districts.
