Fire Department Visits

The Johnstown Fire Department welcomes all visitors to anyone of its three stations.  Calling the Fire Chief’s office at 814-533-2060 can arraign station house tours. 

The Johnstown Fire Departments Fire Safety Trailer is also available to groups for fire safety presentations.  Johnstown Fire Fighters can bring the safety trailer to your location or groups can come to the Johnstown Fire Department station 2 in the City’s West End for on-sight tours.      

The fire safety trailer helps teach everybody about the dangers of fire and how to act in the event of fire. The trailer can be filled with safe nontoxic theatric smoke to enhance the reality of a fire situation.

Children and adults can also learn the correct methods for reporting a fire or other emergency by calling in a simulated 911 call for help.
