BUSINESS LICENSES
A business license is required for certain types of commercial enterprises in addition to the mercantile/business privilege license detailed previously. The chart below lists the affected businesses and their corresponding license fee.

HEALTH CARDS
Any establishment offering food and beverage for consumption on a retail basis must require all employees of such establishments to have a valid current health card, at a cost of $5.00 For more information, please call (814) 533-2017.
TEMPORARY BUSINESS LICENSES
Any person or enterprise wishing to engage in the temporary business of selling goods within the City from a structure or vehicle or the selling of goods from door to door will need to obtain the appropriate City issued license. 
A peddler’s license is required for individuals engaged in the business of selling goods within the City from a location or vehicle on a temporary basis at a cost of $150 a month. A $2,000 bond is also required.
A solicitor’s license is required for individuals selling good or services or seeking orders, potential customers, or gifts/contributions door to door at a cost of $100 a month in addition to a $2,000 bond filed with the City.
Craft vendors are subject to a Transient Craft Merchant license. A transient craft business is defined as an individual who assembles, creates, or constructs art, crafts, and decorative items for sale at specialized shows or events. This license is issued at a cost of $25 a year.
